Ammirato Salvatore
He was awarded a PhD in “Operations Research” in 2005. Since 2010 he has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Calabria. Currently in DIMEG, he is delegate to the process automation of the department on behalf of the DIMEG Director. After a research period at the Center for Tourism at Canberra University in Australia in 2005, he has acted as external researcher since 2006 at the Center for Research in Transnational Education, Leadership and Performance at the same University. In this role, he coordinates transnational research groups on the following topics: leadership, adaptive decision making, collaborative design and collaborative innovation processes. The results obtained so far have been published in a book and in articles on refereed international scientifi c journals and are part of seminars and university lessons held at both the University of Canberra and the Tampere University of Technology (Finland). At Tampere university, from 2013 he has been Visiting Professor and delivers the “Knowledge Management and Decision Making” module for the Master course in Industrial Management together with Prof. Heli Aramo-Immonen. On behalf of the DIMEG Director, he has been and is scientifi c coordinator of both national and international research projects. In 2005 he was co-founder of a spin-off company of the Unical, Echopress srl, for whom he co-ordinates industrial research projects and prototype development.
