MORRONE Pietropaolo
Associate Professor in the scientific disciplinary sector ING-IND/08 (Fluid machinery). He received his Phd in 2006 with a thesis on the study of Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers and the proposal of innovative technical solutions. He graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering in 2001 with a thesis on Internal Combustion Engines. Research fellow at DIMEG and at the Department of Mechanics of the University of Calabria in the scientifi c-disciplinary sectors ING-IND/08 (Fluid machinery) and ING-IND/09 (Energy systems and power generation). He collaborated with ITM-CNR in the fi eld of hydrogen production with palladium membrane reactors and studied IGCC (Integrated Gasifi cation Combined Cycle) plants with carbon dioxide capture, and numerical models for the separation of multi-component gaseous mixtures. He has worked with Elasis – Centro ricerche FIAT. He is the author of a patent. He works in the fi eld of energy and cogenerative systems, internal combustion engines.
