This division addresses issues of adhesion, wear and friction, macro, micro and nano-scale, of a wide range of materials and coatings, including metallic alloys, ceramic and composite materials, even nanostructured. The Laboratory can support various applications in various fi elds of Engineering and Materials Science and is aimed at metallurgical, transport, aerospace, metalworking, oil and SME industries.
