BRUNO Fabio
Associate Professor at the DIMEG in the Scientific Disciplinary Sector ING-IND/15 (Design and Methods of Industrial Engineering) from 01/01/2012. He received a degree in Management Engineering in 2001 and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2005. He obtained the qualification for University Professors of First Class in 2013. He is a founding member of two Spin-Offs of UNICAL: 3D Research Ltd. and Tech4sea s.r.l. He is co-author of over 120 scientific publications, 41 of which on international journals. Scientific coordinator of the projects: "MOLUX - MObile Lab for Underwater eXploration" (POR CALABRIA 14-20) and "VISAS - Integrated Enhancement of the Underwater Archaeological Sites" (MIUR-PON-Startup). He is Scientific Coordinator for UNICAL and 3D Research of European Research Projects: EASME-EMFF “DIVESAFE Integrated system for scientific and environmental underwater surveys, with advanced health and safety feathers” EASME-EMFF “Lab4Dive - Mobile Smart Lab for Augmented Archaeological Dives ”; H2020 iMARECULTURE - “iMmersive serious games and Augmented REALAS tools to raise awareness and access to European underwater CULTURal heritagE”, Interreg MED - “BLUEMED - Plan / tests / coordinates Underwater Museums, Diving Parks and Knowledge Awareness Centers in order to support sustainable and tourism development and promote growth in coastal areas and islands of the Mediterranean ”.

Virtual and Augmented Reality techniques and their application in Industrial Design and Cultural Heritage.
Underwater 3D reconstruction techniques based on optical systems and their integration with acoustic sensors.
Underwater mechatronics and robotics with a focus on the development of new tools for the protection of underwater cultural heritage.
